The last salad of the summer

 September 27th 2015
Hello readers, summer is just over in many regions of the world but it does not mean that we already have feel fall temperatures. I am in South of France for the weekend and the weather is great so it is perfect timing for a big salad. Also I am thinking about those who are entering into summer such as my bestfriend who lives in Australia. This salad is colorful, full of vitamins and delicious...
Ingredients for one person:
1/2 cucumber
1 tomato
few olives
some mozarella balls
some slices of bayonne ham
salt, black pepper, red wine vinegar, fresh (or not) basil
1 piece of melon
garlic croutons
If you are vegan or vegeterian just replace the mozzarella balls melon and ham with advocados and corns

STEP 1

Cut the olives, the cucumber and the tomato into small pieces, add the mozarella balls and put everything into a bowl.

STEP 2
Add one spoon of olive oil, 2 table spoons of red vinegar, some salt, black pepper and basil into the bowl and mix the vegeatble with that mixture. Put the bowl in the fridge for at least 20 minutes so the juice of the vegeatables will mix with the sauce you've just created. You don't have to wait bt if you do the result will be better.

STEP 3
After te 20 minutes add your lettuce in the bowl and mix with spoon. You have to wait the last minute to add the letuce leaves so the juice will not damage the leaves. Set the vegetables mix into a plate. I advice you to use a soup plate because you'll get a voluminous salad.

STEP 4
Cut the melon in small pices and add them with the rest of the garniture in your plate as below. Now you just have to enjoy your meal.
Bon appétit !

My recipe of the yogurt cake with chocolate and bananas !

 December 21st, 2013
Lire en français ici
Hello, as you can see on the picture below I am not going to talk about anything beauty or fashion today. Actually before makeup, fashion or skin care; my first passion is cooking. There are a numerous of very good cooking blogs and website on the Internet so I am not turning mine into one; but here and there I plan on sharing with you some easy and quick recipes. Today is officially the first day of winter so I thought that a good cake would be a good choice to keep us warm.
If you are reading this blog and you are French you probably already know the recipe of the yogurt cake ; that is a classic French recipe. Mine is a little bit different because I always like to add some twists. But first here is the original recipe of the yogurt cake:
Ingredients for 1 cake/6 pers
1-put one tub of plain yogurt in a recipient and you need to keep the empty tub along the recipe because we are going to use it to measure everything.
2-now that your tub is empty you use it to measure 3 tubs of flour
3-2 tubs of sugar
4-3 eggs
5-one tub of oil
Do not forget to add 1/2 sachet of baking powder+one sachet of vanilla sugar. You mix everything in a recipient, put that in the oven for 30 min at 350°F/180°C and you're ready to eat. This is the official recipe that I do very often but personaly I always use 1/2 tube of oil instead of 1 and 1 or 1 and 1/2 tube of sugar instead of 2. Your cake will taste as good but it will be less heavy.
Now on the above picture you have all the ingredients you need for my recipe.
-instead of 1/2 tub of oil I do 1/2 tub of melted butter
-I add 2 mature bananas that I mash very well with a spoon
-I also mash 2/3 of a dark chocolate bar
Do not forget to buttered the baking pan. The recipe states that it has to stay in the oven for 30 min but each oven is different; so after 25 min verify how your cake looks like; to make sure it is ready, stick a knife into the middle of the cake. If the knife remains clean; your cake is ready.

It is an easy recipe for a very good cake, and it is perfect for the cold days. You can eat this cake with hot chocolate, ice cream etc ... Here I decided to accompany my piece with a fresh glass of pure apple juice. Yummy !
I do this recipe very often. I love it because it is easy, quick but the result is always so good.
Bon appétit !

This is my last post before X-mas so I wish you all in advance a very Merry Christmas !
